How long is a bottle of water good if it remains
sealed?
According to: The International
Bottled Water Association
As long as bottled water is packaged in accordance with FDA processing
and good manufacturing practices, 21 CFR, Part 129, and meets the FDA quality
standard provisions as outlined in 21 CFR, Part 165, the product's shelf
life should remain intact for an indefinite period provided that product
storage and other post-packaging and handling practices do not adulterate
or deleteriously affect the finished product. |

just recently got involved in the process. In September 2000, the Government
of India made it mandatory for all bottled water companies to get an ISI
mark.The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare had set a deadline of Mar
29,2001 for complying with the new norms. |
