• N-Pentane also known as amyl hydride or skellysolve is an alkane hydrocarbon with the chemical formula CH3(CH2)3CH3.
• Pentane is a colorless, volatile and flammable liquid with a sweet or gasoline-like odor.
• There are Three isomers exist for pentane: n-pentane,  Isopentane and neopentane.
• Isopentane also called methylbutane or 2-methylbutane, is an organic chemical compound which is one of the three pentane isomers.
• Isopentane is a branched-chain alkane with five carbon atoms.
• Isopentane chemical smells like gasoline and does not dissolve in water, but floats on top of water.
• Isopentane is an extremely volatile and extremely flammable liquid at room temperature and pressure.
• The normal boiling point is just a few degrees above room temperature and Isopentane will readily boil and evaporate away on a warm day.
• Pentane means exclusively the n-pentane isomer, the other two being called "methylbutane" and "dimethylpropane".
• Cyclopentane is not an isomer of pentane.
• Fuels are attractive because of their potential to offer a clean-burning, domestically-produced alternative to imported petroleum products and Chemical substance.
• Alternative fuels include gaseous fuels such as hydrogen, natural gas, and propane, alcohols such as ethanol, methanol, and butanol.
• Isopentane is an organic compound with a variety of uses ranging from being an ingredient in cosmetics to being a component in a type of geothermal power plant.
