  • Polishing are finishing processes for smoothing a workpiece's surface using an abrasiveand a work wheel. Technically polishing refers to processes that use an abrasive that is glued to the work wheel, while buffing uses a loose abrasive applied to the work wheel.
  • Metal polish composition comprising a chelate resin particle and an inorganic particle and a polishing method of a metal.
  • Polishing is a more aggressive process while buffing is less harsh, which leads to a smoother, brighter finish. A common misconception is that a polished surface has a mirror bright finish, however most mirror bright finishes are actually buffed.
  • A metal polish formulation comprising water, an acid and metal iodide. The
    components of the formulation chemically react with the stain on a metal surface, removing the tarnish or stain while leaving the metal unaffected.
  • The metal polish can be applied as a dip-rinse or as a polish. The composition is easily applied and easily
    removed.
  • Polish is a unique liquid formula that produces a "mirror-like" shine in aluminium, magnesium, stainless, brass, nickel, etc. Its ability to melt oxidation and simultaneously bring up the metal's true brilliance cannot be matched by any other polish.
  • Polishing is often used to enhance the looks of an item, prevent contamination of instruments, remove oxidation, create a reflective surface, or prevent corrosion in pipes.
  • In metallography and metallurgy, polishing is used to create a flat, defect-free surface for examination of a metal's microstructure under a microscope. Silicon-based polishing pads or a diamond solution can be used in the polishing process.
  • The removal of oxidization (tarnish) from metal objects is accomplished using a metal polish or tarnish remover; this is also called polishing.
  • The technique employs a metal-polishing apparatus which includes a double-jointed arm assembly and a table assembly. 1) The arm assembly includes a brush assembly, a handle and an actuating device. 2) The double-jointed nature of the arm assembly advanta-geously allows an operator to effectively polish a detailed and ornate metal
    object.
