- A solar inverter is a component of a solar electric system. This
electrical inverter is designed to change the direct current electricity
generated by solar panels into a alternating current electricity utilized
throughout the utility grid.
- There are two types of inverters: with transformer and ,without
transformer
- There are also Stand-alone, Grid tied, Backup systems
- The basic components required to produce electricity from the sun are
: Solar Panels, Charger Controller, Power Inverter, and
Batteries
- With a Grid Tie inverter, whatever electricity that solar panels
produce will reduce the amount supplied by the electricity board, in
effect lowering electric bill. For this setup a large battery bank to
store the power for later use is not needed. Unless there is frequent
power company outages, there is no need any batteries at all.
- In these days of severe power problems, it is felt that
the project for manufacture of solar
inverters will have good market & profitable
