- Bricks have been a major construction
and building material
- Rice husks are the hard protecting
coverings of grains to protect rice at the ripening period. A large
number of ashes is produced at the burning time which is used as a
waste and pollute environment and it is also a great environment
threat
- Rice husk ash has been utilized for
the preparation of bricks in place of clay.
- Once the Bricks are moulded with
various substitute raw materials, the process is similar to that of
clay brick making
- RHA brick is very useful brick as a
good interior materials of building construction because of its
light weight as compare to any other conventional brick
- RHA is easily collected from the rice
producing industries with very low
price
- Rice Husk Ash Concrete Brick is also
viable obtained from rice husk fired boilers
- It is reported by experts that optimum
proportion for RHA and Clay bricks was observed as 30% RHA and 70%
Clay as the bricks exhibited high compressive strength and low brick
weight.
- Water treatment plant sludge can be a
successful partial substitute for brick clay incorporated with
agricultural waste materials; which contain high silica content;
under the conditions, mixing proportions, firing temperatures, and
manufacturing methods
