- Soyfoam or Soya Foam
is produced from Soya and find wide applications in paints, stains,
adhesives, soy based resins, powder coating etc
-
Two kinds of hydrolyzed
protein having different characteristics respectively are obtained by
hydrolyzing soy protein with protease and separating the mixture of
hydrolyzed products using their solubilities in a 5% trichloro acetic
acid aqueous solution as the guidance of the
separation.
- The
hydrolyzed protein of the low solubility possesses excellent emulsifying
properties, and the one of the high solubility possesses excellent
foaming properties.
- Bio-Based Spray Foam
System, is a two part Polyurethane Bio renewable
System that utilizes castor oil, soy oil, and recycled polyester resins
with water for it’s blowing agent
-
Biobased insulation is a
two-part soy-based spray foam installed by certified dealers using
custom designed equipment.
-
soy foam
insulation is code approved by the 2003 International Building Code, the
1997
Uniform Building Code and the 2003 International Residential Code -
Soy-based Foam Insulation
is manufactured from renewable soy beans and recyclable resources. It
expands to 100 times its volume to completely fill every space and void
creating a barrier and thermal seal
- Soy-based, spray foam insulation products that can help reduce
heating and cooling bills by up to 50 percent and improve indoor air
quality when paired with other responsible building components. Because
it utilizes an annually renewable resource, the polyurethane insulation
also supports farmers and reduces our dependence on foreign oil.
-
Soy
foam insulation is chemically neutral, not alkaline or acidic. It does
not chemically react with metal, wood, rubber, electrical wiring
materials, plumbing materials or finishing materials It is
resistant
to other typical building materials that contain plasticizers, fuel,
mineral
oil, or weak acids/bases.
- Researchers are working to replace many
of the standard petroleum-based
polyol with soy-derived material. |
