  • Hot chocolate (also known as hot cocoa or just cocoa or chocolat milk) is a heated beverage typically consisting of shaved chocolate, melted
    chocolate or cocoa powder, heated milk or water, and sugar. Drinking chocolate is similar to hot chocolate, but is made from melted chocolate
    shavings or paste rather than a powdered mix that's soluble in water.
  • Hot chocolate" is a sweet chocolate drink made with hot milk or water, and powder containing chocolate, sugar, and powdered milk.
  • "Cocoa" usually refers to a similar drink made with just hot milk and cocoa powder, then sweetened to taste with sugar.
  • Nowadays agglomerated cocoa drink powder represents a very appealing beverage for children as well as for adult customers. It is produced by mixing basic ingredients (cocoa powder, sugar, vitamin and lecithin, which is followed by agglomeration.
  • Flavored milk drinks are available in many varieties. Viscosities range from that of whole milk, to “thick milkshake” products which achieve their viscosity through use of thickening additives, sometimes in combination with freezing.
  • Cocoa adds color and flavor to chocolate drinks.
  • The development of flavoured milk drink will improve nutrient composition of milk as well as its acceptability by children and adolescent.
  • An aqueous extract of soychoco from cocoa beans with aqueous soybean extract has been produced in th experiment.
  • In manufacturing chocolate, starting with grinding the cocoa beans to obtain a paste called cocoa liquor.
  • The carbonated chocolate beverages are made from cocoa fiber content, the natural constituent of cocoa beans. The process of carbonation in the chocolate beverages is more to provide a sparkle and bite  and enhance its taste.
